Carrico responds to Roscoe in Evans' ad
The truth of the matter is presented here. Del. Bill Carrico led the fight against AEP; Roscoe Reynolds dropped out and took his campaign contributions from AEP, Dominion, and the other utilities.
Roscoe's testimony at the SCC even praises AEP and only asks for staggering the bills, not refunds.

Roscoe The Coward
Sorry for the lack of posts recently. I will post soon with a refutation of Reynolds' claims about his role in the AEP hearings. As usual, the man believes this area is not smart enough to see through his lies. Public record is his biggest enemy.
However, in this short posting, I feel the need to address another issue with Reynolds. He leaves forums early and refuses to debate. Roscoe, are you scared of what would come out? Are you unwilling to face your record? If you, as your supporters have attempted to indicate, believe Jeff Evans is uneducated, unqualified for the State Senate seat, why will you not face him one-on-one in a debate? Surely, if you are so superior, then this would highlight the contrasts between you two. Oh, that's right; even you know that this would make Jeff Evans' superiority in common sense, character, and overall leadership all the more apparent.
I don't even think you'd be willing to debate a lowly man off the street like me. Roscoe, the question is up to you: Are you the desperate, terrified candidate with his foot perpetually in his mouth that I think you are? Will you accept Jeff Evans' challenge to a debate?

Questions for Roscoe P. Coltrane
Well, Roscoe, seeing as the state is in total disrepair in regards to fiscal discipline,
why are you pledging to "fully-fund" education? What does "fully fund" mean to you?
Does it mean give 'em what they ask for no matter what?
Does "fully fund" go along with Gov. Timmy's cutbacks in the state university system?
Since you love to talk about how the state's bond rating and business acumen comes all from you, how will you respond to these constraints? Will you raise taxes yet again?
Oh, and as for AEP, thanks for fighting. They raised rates again anyway. Also, the last time you did it, you didn't help the residents of Martinsville at all. Since they voted overwhelmingly for you last time, do you think they'll appreciate not receiving a refund? Then again, what could they expect? You take campaign contributions from these companies you are supposedly fighting against.
I loved the last Democratic mailer by the way. I was surprised to learn that you are "working hard to keep taxes low" when you voted for increases many times, and I was even more surprised that apparently you'll fight for jobs, for alternative fuel sources, and against illegal immigration. It seems that you want to tackle all those federal issues that aren't your responsibility as you've inconsistently claimed.
Roscoe, since you support it, what's character education? What do you define as character? If the little kids will be learning character from you, I can understand why many parents homeschool their children.
Also, I really loved when you brought up that one of your main qualifications is having served as a PTA President. I understand the Harper Valley PTA much better now. While we're at it, I was President of my first grade class; am I qualified for State Senate? I'll make sure to put it in all my ads.
So, let's see. We can have a hypocritical lawyer whose main qualifications includes having served as a PTA President or we can have a 24 year veteran of the State Police, veteran of the US Army, and Pastor, a man who has attempted to stamp out corruption everywhere he sees it and a man who has attempted to help out the impoverished
I'm voting Jeff Evans on November 6. How about you?

Roscoe Reynolds Can't Track His Own Money
In scanning Reynolds VPAP reports, one can find a lot of interesting, saddening really, information. One can clearly see the difficulty Reynolds' conscience must have at night to claim consumer advocate status all the while taking contributions from major corporation after major corporation.
However, one thing stood out and I felt I must share.
It has been said that one can determine the organizational and leadership skills of a candidate by their campaign's performance. If so, Roscoe P. Coltrane lives up to his name. He has $ 501 listed as "purpose could not be determined." That's not just frivolous spending, which one can easily find. That's we don't really know what this is for, but here's the money anyway. It sounds just how Roscoe has been working with Virginia's tax dollars. Spending freely and not demanding to know what the money is for.
Jeff Evans has operated his campaign on a shoe-string budget but has been frugal, a fiscal conservative as his campaign declares. He benefits from Roscoe's inefficiency with his massive warchest.
Do you trust Roscoe Reynolds with your tax dollars when he can't even keep track of the money in his own campaign?

Roscoe Grasp Productions Presents....
Roscoe "The Flip-Flopper" Reynolds in "That's my story and I'm sticking to it"
I'd like to highlight that Reynolds said that "it's public knowledge I did that" when questioned by the Bulletin after the Evans' campaign release on driver fees. So, he's changed yet again. Roscoe, we're not buying it. We cannot believe a word you say.

Evans/Reynolds; Merricks/Parker; Warner
Hello everyone,
First, I like how the Evans' campaign is gearing up. I've heard and seen several ads (without looking for them). Also, many people came up to me the other day to tell me that "my candidate" had sent out a flyer. Fortunately, I received the flyer in the mail also, so I know what they are talking about.
It's an impressive piece; however, the thing that got me the most was the back "Paid for by the Republican Party of Virginia." I'm glad to see that the state Republicans are FINALLY giving Jeff his due. This race is competitive, and the state GOP has started ponying up some needed funds. I certainly don't believe money is the most important thing (if so, Jeff has no chance). However, he needs the backing of his own party to go against Roscoe's corporate backing.
Second, the Martinsville Bulletin of all places reported what I said the other day:
Parker tried to run as a Republican for Delegate. Juicier...Parker tried to run against REYNOLDS. Yes, Andy "I-can't-have-a-press-conference-until-Roscoe-arrives" Parker was going to run against Roscoe as a Republican.
Funnier still, while basically admitting to being a duplicitous political hack, Andy lashes out against Tucker. Yes, that's the best tactic. Forget all what I, Andy Parker, did; blame Tucker for my not being a strong candidate. I also love how Andy tries to turn his "insult" into one against all the citizens of Martinsville/Henry County. Apparently, Andy is so ego-centric that a shot against him is a shot against everyone.
Personal word for Andy...Just read those last couple sentences back. Maybe you'll understand why the Republicans didn't want you as their candidate now.
In related open political secrets, Mark Warner is running for US Senate.
It's undeniable that Warner is popular. However, his record is a completely different matter.
(That whole tax promise instantly comes to mind in a list of the charmer's lies)
I will be interested to see if any Republicans, aside from Davis/Gilmore get into the race.
09 Gubernatorial Picture: Since Allen is out for Senate, but still open to the Governor's race, what would happen to Bolling/McDonnell if Allen gets in? Would they scale back into their Lt.Gov/AG roles? Or would they try to run against Allen? Or would one jump in for the Us Senate race?
Soon, I will be updating with a debunking of the "facts" of Roscoe Reynolds' website.
I can't believe the man who supported tax hikes larger than the Governor asked for says he "works hard to keep your taxes low."
Also, coming very very soon, the latest release from Roscoe Grasp Productions.
Until the next cannon fire...

Updates
First, unfortunately for Roscoe, I'm not dead!
Sorry for not posting recently. Time has been constrained even moreso than before. However, I cannot leave these duties behind. Removing Roscoe from office is necessary, and anything I can do to bring it about is worth my time.
As most already know, there has been a blog scandal with ODBA, linked to Joe Stanley, a Reynolds/Dem consultant. Across the blogosphere, you can repeatedly find "ass" stamped on their faces (that's literal, not just my saying it).
However, I felt for the time being I should bring up one of my favorite blogs that is not linked to this site: Virginia Political Oddsmaker.
According to their latest update, Reynolds and Evans are running even at 3-1.
Here's the quote with hyperlink:
20th Senate District
(Down)(D) Roscoe Reynolds (3-1)
Joe Stanley and Ben Tribbett come to the rescue?
(Up) (R) Jeff Evans (3-1)
Great blog hit on Roscoe makes the Dems bring in the heavy artillery!
In case anyone is wondering that the site leans Republican, they have Merricks-Parker also even. Personally, I think that race is lean Merricks. I've met him; he seems like a good guy. However, the one thing that sets Jeff apart is he campaigns for change. Merricks has said he doesn't. I think that hurts him; at least it is the reason that I try to help Jeff as much as I can. Otherwise, the district and everything is set up for a Republican candidate. (Speaking of which, Andy Parker tried to be that Republican candidate. He only became a Democrat after it became apparent he would be denied the nomination)
I can't see how Parker can win. He only won his supervisor district four years ago by one vote. I felt he wasn't going to win in a one-on-one matchup in a reelection with Tommy Slaughter anyway. How does he think he can win a Delegate seat, when his district wouldn't even vote for him?
Enough ramblings for now...
